V8 TRACTOR RULES
1.Must be 1959 or older tractor.
2. Must use a O.E.M. automatic type or straight shift transmission. No slipper
clutches.
3.No after market tractor transmissions. Must use original tractor transmission.
4. No locked rear ends.
5. All tractors must look like a tractor in every way.
6. All sheet metal must be on tractor and painted by the third pull (hood, fenders,
etc.)
7. Mechanical/Sheet metal parts from other tractors are permitted.
8. From center of back axle to furthest point on front can be no more than 14 foot
9. Must have wide front axle. Must be safely to withstand pressure and pass
safety inspection.
10. Must have operational wheelie bars heavy enough to support weight of the
tractor.
11. Must have a "kill switch" mounted behind the tractor seat, operational, and kill
all electrical power.
12. Must have safely mounted seat and steering. Seat must have a back support.
13. Puller must be able to drive onto track and back to sled without assistance.
14. Rear tire size must not exceed 18.4.38.
15. Any small block engine allowed 400ci inch limit.
16. aluminum heads will be allowed but must have cooling passages no solid heads .
Aluminum intakes allowed.
17. One four-barrel carbeuretor of any size.
18. Pump/ avi/race Gas. NO ALCOHOL
19. All flywheels and drivelines must be covered, including harmonic balancer. SFI
approved flex plate-auto. Transmission covering required sheetmetal, scatter
blanket exe.
20. Electric cooling fans permitted. No O.E. or engine driven cooling fans allowed.
21. Drawbar must not be higher than 20" measured vertically or more than 18"
from center of rear axle.
22. All engines must be naturally aspirated. No forced air or induction.
23. No turbochargers. No Blowers. No Tunnel Rams.
24. No nitrous oxide. No fuel injection.
25. Approved side shield on motor.
26. Must have fire extinguisher mounted on tractor.
27. Must have working brakes.
28. Tractors may not exceed 8 cylinder gasoline – NO DIESEL
29. Tractor must be operated safely at all times. Driver must wear helmet, full
legnth pants, and fire jacket.
30. Must have sufficient rollover protection and seatbelts.
31. No tractor over 5750 pounds.

PULLER MUST BE AT LEAST 16 YEARS OF AGE
(Puller must be able to present a valid drivers liscense upon request of track
officials.)
All tractors must cross scales and enter track under their own power.
NO PASSENGERS ALLOWED ON TRACTORS DURRING COMPETITION.
All final decisions will be made by event techs.
Ecceptions will be made on certain rules to accomadate pullers.
